There’s this turnstile on the NYC subway at Park Place (which sounds like a Monopoly stop, but it’s an actual stop on the 2 train). It’s one of those floor-to-ceiling turnstiles with lots of curved arms, almost like a Dali-designed revolving door. Unless you’ve been in the NYC subway, it’s hard to explain.
Anyway, on one of the arms of that turnstile, someone put up a little sticker: “Amplify love, dissipate hate.” Every day as I exit from that turnstile, I think to myself, “am I getting the sticker today?” I have a 1 in 3 change, after all.
Today the person in front of me got the sticker. I got some dirty smeared thing.
But with a forecast of low 70s and sunny for the entire weekend, how could I be upset over anything at all? Sun! Yeah!
Of course, that whole “amplify love, dissipate hate” thing sends me off on a rant, but I just don’t have time to write about it now. Maybe later.

Why does “Amplify love, dissipate hate” send you off in a rant?
